Today Walt Disney World Resort announced that Splash Mountain will be closing permanently on January 23, 2023. This means that Splash Mountains’ last day of operation will be January 22, 2023. Of course, Splash Mountain is closing to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure which is coming to both Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. As of now, Disney has not announced a closing date for the Disneyland version of Splash Mountain. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open at both Walt Disney World Resort and at the Disneyland Resort in Late 2024.
