Today Disneyland has announced that Mickey’s Toontown will close on March 9, 2022, so that Disney can start with the big transformation of the land. Currently, Mickey’s Toontown is expected to reopen in early 2023, but a reopening date has not been identified yet. Of course, when Mickey’s Toontown reopens in 2023 it will see the addition of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Disney has said that favorite attractions such as Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, Mickey’s House, and Minnie’s House! Plus, other attractions will be reimagined in new and exciting ways, including Gadget’s Go Coaster, Goofy’s House, and Donald’s Boat.
