This May there will be 3 restaurants reopening for the first time since the covid-19 pandemic shut down. Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Cape May Café at Disney’s Bech Club Resort and Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Chef Mickey’s Dinner:
Opening May 16, Chef Mickey’s will offer an all you can eat family style dinner that will have distanced characters for you to meet such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and some of your other favourite fab 5 Characters. Similar to other character dining locations, Guests will take home a souvenir with character signatures and colorful artwork.
The dinner menu will include items for the whole family, like starters of “Chef Mickey’s Caesar,” citrus-poached shrimp salad, and assorted breads; main courses of gnocchi, roasted garlic potato Gratin, plant-based faro wheat fried rice, prime rib, roasted turkey, and salmon; and an assortment of sweets to top off the meal. Little ones in your family can enjoy mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, turkey corn dog nuggets, and more!
Cape May Café:
Starting May 18, Cape May Café will offer delicious food of an oceanside town. The New England-style restaurant is a perfect location to refuel before and after a day of adventure at Walt Disney World. Guests will be able to have some of the old favourite as well as some new things to try when the restaurant reopens. The restaurant will serve breakfast and dinner, but Minnie’s Beach Bash Character Breakfast and the Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet will not return at reopening.
The all you can eat breakfast menu will feature some classic favourites and staples including Mickey and Minnie Mouse waffles, Omelets and so much more. The Dinner Menu will feature a seafood boil, lobster mac and cheese and so much more for you to enjoy.

Tusker House Restaurant:
Tusker House restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will be returning with family style entrees inspired by the flavours of Africa. There will also be distanced characters for you to meet such as Donald Duck and Friends, Similar to other character dining locations, Guests will take home a souvenir with character signatures and colorful artwork.
